Cairo/ Giza |
Start your day at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, located in the historic Al-Fustat, Africa’s first Islamic capital. Partially opened in 2017 and fully inaugurated in 2021 following the grand procession of the royal mummies, it houses 50,000 artifacts narrating Egypt’s evolution from prehistory to modernity. The Royal Mummies Hall, the museum’s crown jewel, displays 22 mummies, including Ramses II, relocated in a majestic 2021 parade. The central hall, featuring 1,600 pieces, stands out for its chronological (pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic) and thematic (writing, religion, society) approach, enhanced by interactive digital screens. As you walk, the Ain al-Sira Lake reflects the grandeur of a museum that bridges past and present.
After a short transfer to Giza, arrive at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), facing the pyramids. The GEM’s structure evokes the sun’s rays connecting the pyramids. This colossal museum, the largest dedicated to a single civilization, showcases 100,000 artifacts, including the complete Tutankhamun collection, displayed in full for the first time since 1922, and the solar boats of Khufu. Its 12 main galleries, housing 24,000 pieces, narrate pharaonic history with immersive technology. The Grand Atrium and monumental staircase offer unique views of the pyramids, while the outdoor gardens invite reflection. Here, every object whispers the secrets of an eternal civilization.
This visit combines the cultural richness of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization with the magnificence of the Grand Egyptian Museum, offering an unforgettable journey into the soul of Egypt. As mummies and golden treasures observe you, you’ll feel the pulse of a history that transcends time. Experience the grandeur of the pharaohs!

I had the best travel experience with Abdul, Amir and the rest of the team from a warm welcome at the airport, picking me up to my hotel and giving me such enough information about historical significance that could add up to something that would definitely make you knowledgeable enough during ancient times era. The hotel room they gave me was non obstructive view so overall you can see the pyramid view from your room. I would definitely recommend Abdul -The EGYPT TRAVEL TOURS-.
